Overview
ZESTO Foods is a modern snack and seasoning brand focused on bold flavors, playful branding, and visually disruptive packaging. As the company prepared to launch its new Chili Crisp product line, they partnered with Fexel to develop a campaign identity that could immediately stand out across retail shelves, digital ads, and social-first marketing.
The goal was to create a launch system that felt energetic, memorable, and unmistakably product-driven while still maintaining a clean and scalable visual identity.
Challenge
The condiment and packaged-food space is heavily crowded with traditional packaging systems and visually repetitive marketing. ZESTO wanted to avoid generic “artisan food” aesthetics and instead position the brand as modern, expressive, and culturally current.
The challenge was building a campaign that felt:
bold without becoming visually chaotic
playful while remaining commercially effective
graphic-heavy but still product-focused
The visuals also needed to adapt easily across multiple flavor variations and promotional formats.
Approach
Fexel built the campaign around the concept of visual intensity.
We developed a high-contrast identity system using oversized typography, saturated color palettes, and floating product compositions designed to dominate attention both online and in-store. The repeated background typography became a signature visual device, reinforcing the product category while adding rhythm and energy to every composition.

The visual direction combined:
oversized layered typography
bright, high-contrast color systems
minimal but bold packaging layouts
dynamic product framing
clean graphic composition
Rather than relying on lifestyle imagery, the campaign focused entirely on making the product itself feel iconic and instantly recognizable.
Outcome
The launch campaign helped ZESTO establish a much stronger shelf presence and significantly improved engagement across social and digital channels during the release period.
The flexible visual system also allowed the internal team to quickly expand the campaign into new flavors, promotional drops, and retail assets without losing consistency.
Most importantly, the campaign positioned ZESTO as a bold contemporary food brand rather than a traditional packaged-goods company.
