Overview

CRUNCH! is a snack brand focused on high-impact flavors, playful branding, and visually expressive packaging targeted toward younger audiences. As the company prepared to launch its Smoky BBQ flavor line, they partnered with Fexel to develop a campaign identity designed to dominate attention across retail shelves, digital promotions, and social media content.

The objective was to create a visual system that felt energetic, modern, and instantly recognizable while keeping the product itself at the center of every composition.

Challenge

The snack industry is highly competitive, with products constantly fighting for visibility both online and in-store. CRUNCH! wanted to avoid traditional “safe” packaging aesthetics and instead create a campaign that felt bold, loud, and unapologetically graphic.

The challenge was balancing:

  • playful visuals with clean hierarchy

  • saturated colors without visual clutter

  • bold typography while maintaining readability

The campaign also needed enough flexibility to support future flavor expansions and promotional variations.

Approach

Fexel built the campaign around the idea of amplified energy.

We introduced oversized typography, floating product compositions, and vibrant monochromatic color systems to create visuals that immediately captured attention. Rather than relying on complex layouts, we focused on strong scale contrast and simple but aggressive graphic framing.

The visual direction combined:

  • oversized repeated typography

  • bold monochromatic palettes

  • exaggerated floating product shots

  • sharp packaging contrast

  • minimal but high-impact layouts

The product was intentionally treated as the hero element in every composition, allowing the campaign to feel instantly recognizable even at a glance.

Outcome

The launch campaign helped CRUNCH! achieve stronger product visibility across digital campaigns and retail marketing materials during the release period.

The modular visual system also gave the internal marketing team a scalable framework for future flavor launches while maintaining a consistent brand identity across every touchpoint.

Most importantly, the campaign established CRUNCH! as a visually confident and culturally modern snack brand within a highly crowded market.
